Random story for starters...
I have an incredibly hyper and crazy, yet loving, 10 month old maltese-poodle puppy named Baxter. The cutest little brown eyes, those adorable little puppy paws, and out of control puppy hair. He doesn't shed a hair, but its curly and it just adds to his cuteness. I thought in my mind I could just trim the strays and keep him looking some what presentable. Wrong. It was time to take him to a groomer. So $85 later...because I had waited too long...Olga (not sure if that was her name but she reminded me of a Russian movie character) informed me that she had to shave his whole body! When they walked him out to the lobby where I was waiting, I was pretty confused. I kinda looked around, looked at this poodle looking dog in front of me, looked at Olga, then realized, "Oh...this must be him?" When I tell you this dog was a stranger dog, I did not know who this dog was. Did they make a mistake? Couldn't recognize a thing about him, at all.
So before he was a fluffy, tan, curly headed mess. Now he is a prissy looking, shaved, resembling Falcor mess. Love of my life though :)
Sidenote...yes I said Falcor. For those of you who do not know. Falcor is that weird giant flying dog from The Never Ending Story. Ya'll remember that movie don't you? I would cry every SINGLE time Atreu's horse Hortense sunk in that damn mud. Damn it! Only difference between Falcor and Bax Bax is that Falcor is pink, has a weird human-like nose, is a giant, and has those gross bubbles on him that look like bubble wrap. Haha seriously though. Baxter is adorable and so loving. He's definitely in that puppy stage, which I tend to forget sometimes because he is at least 13 pounds and it's hard for me to forget he's still a puppy. (When I got him in March, he weighed 1 pound at least)
So for now I guess I'll stop the rambling and experimenting. I'll be watching Chelsea Handler and waiting to hear from my honey while he's at work :) Cya next time!
Baby Baxter when I first got him. How could you NOT fall in love with that little Teddy Bear face? You can't NOT fall in love with it, that's what I'm tellin you people. Wait til you see what the munchkin looks like now!
A cute pic of the munchkin..hmmm...when he was a few months old. Still had all that baby fur :) He was still tiny enough to throw in a bad and run errands, ha. What I'm about to show you is going to blow your mind I promise you that. Just wait...hang on....
Now THIS is the face I know and love :) Looking like a living room carpet sample with eye balls...hahaha...I want to pay Olga to glue the munchkin's hair back onto his body..dead serious...Now a recent picture...
AHHHHHHHH! What did she do to my baby!!!!!!! I still have the cutest carpet/Falcor dog in the world :) I promise it's the same dog...this is why I was so confused. Looooook!
For my friends who aren't familiar with Falcor from your own memory...here is a snapshot of him...I DARE YOU to tell me little Bax doesn't look like Falcor's long lost little cousin? You know he does don't even try to tell me different. I guess I love Falcor lol.
